Outernet project in order to connect to the internet world for free

Since the duration and we hear about the desire of many actors in the field of digital connectivity to the internet in order to circulate the entire world, even in those areas furthest, and after that we heard about the draft Google and Facebook and others in this area comes the pilot project and the ambition (Outernet).


The project, which was announced some time ago aims to connect all parts of the world access the Internet and free of charge, and is based on the accomplished American company Media Development Investment Fund after obtaining the approval of the U.S. space agency (NASA) in order to conduct tests on this new technology on board the International Space Station and the stomach for this purpose.

The project is based on the development of 150 low-cost satellite in space, where will these so-called small satellites (CubeSats), which retransmits the information sent from the ground via the User Datagram Protocol technology, and therefore these satellites are able to connect billions of users access the Internet.

The project will be ready by the year 2015 in the case of success and get all the approvals are possible, and would be a quantum leap in the history of the Internet, and remains to be seen what will be the position of the internet companies in this regard?
